How Fast Do SalutGames Games Load? Real Load Times for Every Game

The median SalutGames game puts its first frame on screen 0.77 seconds after its link is opened. On a deliberately slow connection, with the processor slowed down as well, the median is 0.89 seconds. Twelve of the thirteen games stayed under a second and a half even then.
Download size, game by game
The four smallest games are each under 200 KB. Lost Corridors is the lightest at 90 KB: every wall, flame and wraith in it is drawn by code, so the download is just the game's code and three font files, with no image files at all.
For scale, the HTTP Archive's 2025 Web Almanac puts the median mobile home page at 2,559 KB and 75 requests. Ten of the thirteen games download less than that, and the four smallest are under a tenth of it.

The heavy end
Three games stand out for the wrong reasons. One Tap Hero and Rondo still show their title screens in under a second, but they are made of more than 200 files each. On the slow connection the browser was still busy long after the title appeared: Rondo finished loading at 20.6 seconds and One Tap Hero at 28.8.
Tap Burst is the real miss. On the slow connection it showed only its loading screen, a bouncing balloon, for about 11 seconds while its artwork downloaded. On a normal connection that wait shrinks to 1.7 seconds, which is still the slowest first frame of the thirteen.
How the test was run
Each game was opened straight from its address on salutgames.net, the same files a player gets, in Chrome 155 on 14 October 2026, from a home connection in Morocco. Every run started with an empty cache, and each game was loaded three times per setting. The numbers above are the middle result of the three.
Two settings were used:
- Normal: the connection as it is, no limits.
- Slow: 1.6 Mbit/s down, 750 kbit/s up and 150 ms of latency, with the processor slowed down four times. That is roughly a weak mobile signal on an inexpensive laptop.
Tap Burst's slow runs were repeated with a longer window, because its first frame arrived after the standard one had closed.
"First frame" is the moment the browser first paints something from the game, usually its title screen. "Download" counts every byte of every file the game requested until it settled.
What the numbers leave out
A first frame is not the same as playing. Several games keep downloading after their title screen appears, so the download column is the more honest measure of total cost. Results from a single location also say nothing about players far from the nearest server, and a real phone with twenty open tabs will be slower than a clean test browser.
Gravity Lab had the fastest first frame of the thirteen, 0.54 seconds on the normal connection.
